Terms and Conditions

All bookings are based on the following terms and conditions which all hire's confirmed make up the contract of booking.
A 20% deposit with all bookings is required to secure booking once availability is confirmed by the company and submitted along with your final itinerary - with the remainder of the quotation, you received payable 10 days before the date of hire commences unless otherwise agreed prior with the company.

The following will apply if you the hirer wishes to cancel the hire agreement:

Hire Deposit
9-6 Days before 15% Loss of Booking
5-3 Days before 25% Loss of Booking
2-1 Days before 50% Loss of Booking
Day of hire 85% loss of Booking
Arrival of coach/bus at pick up point 100% loss of Booking

Where the driver's accommodation has been pre-booked and paid for in full by the company - you the hirer, are liable for a complete refund of the cost to the company. Where agreed pick times go over 40 minutes after pick up time a standby charge of €65 per hour or part of will apply (subject to certain terms and drivers hours).
Changes made to booking with less than 48 hrs. notice will incur a 50% handling fee this is due to the fact work will have been turned away for your booked time.

All queries in relation to any invoice matters must be notified within seven days of receipt of invoice. To enquire about a booking or pricing, you can email us.

Cancellation by Coach Hire Dublin (otherwise known as the company)

In the event of an emergency, riot, civil commotion, strike, lock out, stoppage or restraint of labour or on the happening of any event over which the company has no control (including adverse weather and road conditions) or in the event of the hirer taking any action to vary the agreed conditions unilaterally, the company may cancel the contract by returning all money paid by hirer without further or other liability.

Drivers Hours

We work in accordance with all local drivers regulations in relation to their working time and all booking are done in accordance with these regulations. The hours of operation for the driver are regulated by law, and the hirer accepts the responsibility of ensuring the hire keeps to the hours and times agreed by the company. If any delay is caused outside of the control of the company, then the hirer will be responsible for any additional costs incurred, unless the breach is outside the control of the hirer.

Complaints

In the event of a complaint about the company's services, the hirer should endeavor to seek a solution by seeking assistance from the driver or from the company. If this avenue has not provided a remedy, complaints should be submitted in writing and within 7 days of the termination date of hire.

Invoices & Payment's

Any disputes in relation to invoices must be made in writing to the company within seven days of hire date, after this time the company will not enter into any disputes over payment.
CHD reserves the right to add interest, after the date by which payment has become due unless agreed in advance with the company.

Vehicles to be supplied

The company reserves the right to provide a larger vehicle than that specified at no additional cost. The company reserves the right to substitute another vehicle (including those of other operators) or ancillary companies for all or part of the booking.
